The Brief
A podiatry clinic needed its website brought up to date. This was the third version I have built for them, and the most comprehensive: although framed as an update, it was a complete rebuild from the ground up.
What I did
I built a fully custom WordPress theme, hand-coded for performance and easy maintenance rather than assembled from a page builder. The site is organised around what patients actually need:
- A structured services section covering every treatment the clinic offers.
- Staff profiles with bios and photos, so patients know the team before they visit.
- Clinic background, covering its history, approach and patient care.
- Clear practical detail: locations, opening hours and how to book.
- A responsive, intuitive layout built with UIkit for a clean experience on any device.
- ACF-driven content, so the clinic can update services, staff and copy without touching code.
The Result
A fast, professional, patient-friendly website that better represents the clinic and gives them a platform they can maintain and grow themselves.
